Privacy Policy

Your privacy is paramount. We are committed to protecting your personal data and your digital footprint.

1. Data Collection

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our audio experiences, including account details when you choose to create an account and basic usage patterns.

2. Data Sharing

We never sell your personal information to third parties. Data is only shared when essential for service delivery (e.g., payment processing via Stripe).

Google User Data

Thriversify integrates with Google services to enhance your productivity experience. This section fully discloses how our application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google APIs Terms of Service.

Google Sign-In (Authentication)

Data Accessed

When you sign in with Google, we access your Google account's basic profile information, which includes your name, email address, and profile photo URL. This is obtained via the OpenID Connect scopes (email, profile, openid).

Data Usage

This information is used exclusively to create and identify your Thriversify account, display your name and avatar within the application, and authenticate your identity for secure access to your personal data. We do not use your Google profile data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond account authentication and personalization.

Data Storage & Retention

Your name and email are stored in our Firebase database (Google Cloud infrastructure) to maintain your account record. This data is retained for the lifetime of your account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at legal@thriversify.com.

Data Sharing

Your Google profile data is not shared with any third party. It is used solely within the Thriversify platform for account management purposes.

Google Tasks Integration

Data Accessed

When you choose to sync your actionable steps or goals to Google Tasks, the application requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks OAuth scope. This scope grants the ability to read, create, and update your Google Tasks task lists and individual tasks. We access your existing task lists only to locate or create a dedicated Thriversify list for organization purposes.

Data Usage

The Google Tasks integration is entirely optional and user-initiated. When you choose to sync an action step or active goal, it is written to a dedicated Thriversify task list in your Google Tasks account. We do not read pre-existing task content beyond what is needed to locate or update that list.

Data Storage & Retention

The OAuth access token obtained for Google Tasks is stored temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage for the duration of your active session only. It is never persisted to our servers or databases. The token expires automatically and is not renewed without explicit user action. Task content (your actionable steps and goals) are written directly to Google's infrastructure; we do not store a copy of your Google Tasks data on our servers.

Data Sharing

Your Google Tasks data and OAuth credentials are never shared with any third party. The access token is used exclusively to communicate with the Google Tasks API (tasks.googleapis.com) on your behalf. We do not use your task data for analytics, advertising, AI model training, or any purpose other than writing your chosen action steps into your Google Tasks account.

User Control & Revocation

The Google Tasks sync feature can be disabled at any time from the Settings page by an administrator or by contacting us. You can also revoke Thriversify's access to Google Tasks at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access will not affect any tasks already written to your Google Tasks account.

Limited Use Disclosure

Thriversify's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are clearly visible and described within Thriversify.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.
  • We do not use or transfer Google user data for AI or machine learning model training.
  • We do not sell Google user data to third parties.

Need Clarification?

If you have any questions about our policies or how we handle your data, please don't hesitate to reach out.
